K.I.D.S.

UP JMA & Tahanan ng Panginoon work hand in hand with the K.I.D.S program which provides educational assistance for 31 less fortunate but brilliant children. These kids are the driving force behind every JMA event’s success.

One of the best things about being a JMAer is the K.I.D.S (Kids Integrated Development through Schooling) program. This program provides educational assistance for 35 less fortunate but brilliant children. Now why give these kids help? These 35 wonderful and enthusiastic kids are the cream of the crop. They are the top students from their respective schools. Aside from being smart, cheerful and talented, these kids are the driving force behind every JMA event’s success. They may be little in size but the amount of happiness and unforgettable moments they create cannot be measured.

The UP JMA and Tahanan ng Panginoon, Our Lady of Pentecost Parish chapter (Varsity Hills, Loyola Heights, QC), work hand in hand in the UP JMA K.I.D.S program.

The scholarship fund established to support the educational needs of our beneficiaries has gone a long way since it started more than 10 years ago.

It provides its scholars assistance in the form of:

• educational subsidy
• books, uniforms, food supplements and school supplies (in cash/kind) and
• numerous K.I.D.S. activities per semester (e.g. fieldtrip, sports fest or workshop).

With 31 children already involved in the program, UP JMA remains committed in its social and moral obligation to help others in the community.
