WHAT IS

Launched in 2017, Cosmos: An OPM Festival has continually fulfilled its mission of taking 15,000 attendees to an out-of-this-world event. The most awaited night of the annual UP Fair features the best of mainstream and emerging Filipino talent, united in the fight for gender equality and empowerment.

The journey continues with UP JMA as we take you out of this world with Cosmos: An OPM Festival. This February 18, Cosmos will once again take exciting frontiers featuring local talent in a benefit concert at UP Diliman Sunken Garden.

Previously, Cosmos was proud to champion the call for complete and genuine gender emancipation, and for the call for sustainable agriculture. This year, we want to use our platform to continue the spirit of equality and celebrate OPM, while advocating for a call that resonates with women all over the Philippines.

Cosmos aims to champion the need for Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights. Under this advocacy, we will focus on promoting the menstrual dignity of women, #TransRightsAreHumanRights, #ReproductiveHealthForAll, and #MalayaAkongMaging—seeking to free ourselves from traditional notions and focus on broadening the audience of the campaign.
