[UP JMA Recap] Upward: Climb for a Greener Tomorrow

UP JMA goes hiking for a cause!

On March 19, 2023, twenty-two attendees enjoyed what nature had to offer through an on-ground hiking experience at Mt. Maynoba in Tanay, Rizal with We Champion’s initiative, Upward: Climb for a Greener Tomorrow.

Our volunteer members and applicants spent the day enjoying the scenic trail, going swimming, and bonding at the peak of the mountain. At the heart of this activity lies UP JMA’s advocacy, as all proceeds will be used for We Champion’s reforestation initiatives.

This activity is in partnership with Philippine Native Plants Conservation Society and Fostering Education and Environment for Development Inc. Philippines. It is in cooperation with One Earth Collective, Forest Foundation Philippines, UP Green League, and Angat Kalikasan Pilipinas.
